The purpose of this report is to examine the biological, chemical and physical data collected in a survey of the Chain O' Lakes, Antrim, Charlevoix, Kalkaska, and Grand Traverse Counties, Michigan.
The data were used to classify the existing water quality based on the Saprobiontic System. Emphasis was placed on aquatic insects since some of these organisms are sensitive to changes in their environment.
