The purpose of this report is to summarize the findings of surveys carried out by the Biology 424 students of Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, Michigan, during the fall semester 1967-68. The main concern of the surveys was the collection and identification of bottom fauns, however limited bacteriological studies were carried out on the Intermediate River, Lake Bellaire, and the spillway located in Bellaire, Michigan.
