Abstract

There is very little data pertaining to the physical-chemical quality of the water and fisheries of the Chain of Lakes. The Michigan Department of Conservation had been stocking and conducting a limited physico-chemical analysis of these waters for several decades* However, it has been only in recent years that a serious attempt has been made to develop a fishery management program.
